GDPR

Confidentiality is my priority as a professional counsellor. 

To keep you and your information safe and secure, I adhere to the current data protection laws of GDPR, The Data Protection Act 2018 and the ethical guidelines in the framework of the professional body National Counselling Society, of which I am an accredited member. 

  • The names, email addresses and/or phone numbers of clients are kept securely, and strictly never passed on to third parties for sales or marketing
  • They are kept digitally, and used for contact only during therapy. Once therapy has come to an end they are deleted
  • Client progress notes are kept anonymised, in hard copies and kept in a locked draw
  • These notes are used for Supervision purposes to ensure I’m working ethically and securely destroyed after 5 years
